VOLCÁN POÁS - TOUR DEL CAFÉ - CATARATAS DE LA PAZ

SAN JOSÉ - CANALES Y BOSQUE LLUVIOSO DE TORTUGUERO

Salida de San José hacia Limón, la provincia afro-caribeña de Costa Rica, atravesando la cordillera volcánica Central. Las variaciones de clima, temperatura y paisaje son notorias. Cerca de Guápiles observará extensas plantaciones de banano. En el embarcadero tomará un bote que lo llevará a Tortuguero. Disfrute de la gran diversidad de flora y de fauna. Con suerte, puede observar osos perezosos, monos, cocodrilos, tortugas y muchos animales más. Por la tarde visite el pueblo de Tortuguero.

PARQUE NACIONAL BOSQUE LLUVIOSO DE TORTUGUERO

Por la mañana, excursión guiada a través de la misteriosa selva del bosque lluvioso de Tortuguero. Por la tarde, paseo en bote a través de los pequeños canales del parque nacional, donde tendrá la oportunidad de disfrutar de muchos de sus 309 especies diferentes de aves, bosques pantanosos y plantas acuáticas flotantes. Los monos son especialmente abundantes.

CANALES DE TORTUGUERO - SARAPIQUÍ

Después del desayuno podrá disfrutar nuevamente de la selva tropical durante el viaje de regreso, a través de los canales, hasta el desembarcadero. El viaje sigue por carretera, pasando por Guápiles, para continuar hasta Sarapiquí.

RESERVA BIOLÓGICA TIRIMBINA Y TOUR DEL CHOCOLATE - LA FORTUNA, VOLCÁN ARENAL

Temprano en la mañana, visita a la reserva biológica Tirimbina, que protege 346ha de bosque prístino. Atraviese uno de los puentes colgantes más largos de Costa Rica y admire muchas de las 420 especies de aves de la zona, tales como loras, pericos, garzas, tucanes y muchos más. Camine por la selva y también descubra los secretos y maravillas del chocolate. Aprenda acerca de los aspectos históricos y culturales del cacao, incluyendo todo lo referente a su producción: cosecha, fermentación, secado y molienda. Saboree diferentes muestras de chocolate. Temprano en la tarde, traslado a través de las llanuras de San Carlos hasta La Fortuna, al pie del famoso volcán Arenal.

PARQUE NACIONAL VOLCÁN ARENAL - AGUAS TERMALES

Mañana libre para disfrutar en los alrededores de La Fortuna. Por la tarde, oportunidad de disfrutar de la vista del volcán Arenal con su forma cónica casi perfecta a 1633msnm. Visita opcional a las plácidas aguas termales de la región con sus bellos jardines.

LAGO ARENAL - BOSQUE NUBOSO DE MONTEVERDE

Salida hacia el lago Arenal, el más grande y más importante de Costa Rica. Disfrute del recorrido panorámico, en bote, para atravesar el lago y continúe por una carretera secundaria hasta llegar a Santa Elena de Monteverde. Descubra, por su cuenta, las fabulosas atracciones de Monteverde: el serpentario, la galería de colibríes, la fábrica de queso o las ventas de café orgánico.

RESERVA BIOLÓGICA SANTA ELENA DE MONTEVERDE

Temprano en la mañana, visita a esta reserva privada de 310ha. Debido a las nubes procedentes del Caribe, la temperatura es baja y la humedad alta. Observe exuberantes bosques con árboles cubiertos de musgo y de helechos que protegen el hábitat de muchos batracios y de más de 400 especies de aves, entre ellas el quetzal, pájaro campana, colibríes, momotos y pavas negras.

MONTEVERDE - LIBERIA - RINCÓN DE LA VIEJA

Traslado desde Monteverde descendiendo por una ruta secundaria hasta llegar a la carretera Panamericana para seguir hasta Cañas y continuar, pasando por Liberia, para llegar a Rincón de la Vieja. Tarde libre para disfrutar de las actividades en la Hacienda.

VOLCÁN RINCÓN DE LA VIEJA - PLAYA TAMARINDO

Temprano en la mañana visita al activo volcán Rincón de la Vieja, que se encuentra a 1895m sobre el nivel del mar. Con sus 14084ha, este parque nacional protege el hábitat de innumerables animales. Visite el sector “Las Pailas”, de intensa actividad volcánica, con sus grandes pozas de barro en ebullición. Hacia el mediodía, traslado privado desde Rincón de la Vieja, a través de la pampa guanacasteca, hasta Tamarindo.

PLAYA TAMARINDO EN EL PACÍFICO

Disfrute de varios kilómetros de playas de arena color champán, visite los manglares o simplemente descanse en las cálidas aguas del océano Pacífico.
